WHICH X-MEN COMICS STAND OUT THIS MONTH?
Midnight X-Men #1 is October’s most significant release. Jonathan Hickman’s return to an X-Men launch, combined with a conflict between vampires and mutant Empyres, positions the title as the month’s central new series.

Wolverine: Paradise #1 also offers a distinctive change of scenery. Its Miami setting, criminal-underworld premise and single-creator approach could give the five-part story a strong identity separate from Logan’s regular team adventures.

Readers following the main mutant storyline will have three DNX chapters to collect. In addition to DNX #3, Marvel is double-shipping X-Men with issues #39 and #40, covering both the attack on the Factory and Psylocke’s mysterious solo investigation.

October is also an important month for finales. X-Men ’97: Season Two, Bishop and X-Men: Outback all conclude, while Alien vs. X-Men #2 escalates its crossover conflict with the arrival of Cable and a new Alien Queen.
